About this section
The Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Section’s aim is to advance the scientific study of rheumatology, which is that branch of medicine concerned with the disease of connective tissue and disorders of the musculoskeletal system, and to advance the scientific study of rehabilitation, which is the restoration of optimum function of people suffering from disability, particularly of the locomotors system.

Seven Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Scholarships are available, each offering a valuable opportunity for resident doctors to enhance their professional development through education, mentoring, networking, and scholarship activities. The programme begins on 29 September 2025 and is designed to support individual growth while fostering innovation and impact within the wider Rheumatology & Rehabilitation community.
