Section meetings and conferences are usually organised by members of the Section Council, led by the Section President and often in collaboration with specialist societies.

Otology Section: Innovation Prize 2026
Deadline: Thursday, 22 January 2026
Open to: ENT surgeons and trainees of all grades, medical students, professionals in allied fields (e.g., audiology, speech and language therapy), and researchers in basic sciences related to ENT. Please note, RSM membership is not required to participate.
Prize: £300 and an opportunity to present an oral presentation at the May 2026 RSM meeting

Open to: All trainees and consultants within 2 years of appointment
Prize: £1500
Otology Section: Norman Gamble research grant submission form
Deadline: Saturday, 31 January 2026
Open to: British citizens, both lay and medics
Prize:
- 1st place: TWJ Short Fellowship up to £1000 to the International Otology Course at the Causse clinic in Beziers, France, sponsored by the TWJ Foundation
- 2nd place: £200
- 3rd place: £100
