Applications open for Deputy Clinical Lead for CPD

We're seeking applications for the voluntary role of Deputy Clinical Lead for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Working with the Dean of Education, the Deputy Clinical Lead for CPD will support the accreditation and quality assurance of CPD across the RSM’s centrally organised educational events and those delivered in partnership with external clients. The role will help ensure that programmes meet CPD requirements and remain relevant, high quality and fit for the future.

The post holder will lead the process for awarding CPD credits, attend quarterly meetings of the Educational Programme Approval Committee, and work with committee members to oversee the CPD process. The role requires approximately one session per week and is held for a two-year term.

Applicants must hold a primary medical degree, have completed specialist training and be Fellows of the RSM in good standing with the GMC. This is a voluntary position, with fees payable only where CPD accreditation is undertaken for external paying clients.
