Medical historian Dr Morris has spent much of her career teaching in UK universities, creating and leading courses in both medical schools and history departments. Over time, her work expanded into programme design at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which led to consultancy roles with the British government and UNESCO. She’s also a passionate advocate for heritage preservation, serving as a trustee and adviser on projects that protect and promote library and archive collections.

Dr Morris has been a member of the RSM for over thirty years and is a familiar face to many in our community. A Past President of the History of Medicine Society, she continues to serve on that Section’s Council.
